Designing impactful visual communication.

Keiko Lee-Hem is the graphic designer behind Keiko Creative, where she works with people who, in their own way, are making a positive impact in the world. She is passionate about creating impactful graphic design that helps changemakers communicate their message with clarity, simplicity and beauty. She approaches design challenges holistically, producing results that effectively amplify clients’ messages to create the impact they need.

Keiko’s solo adventure as Keiko Creative began in 2007, and in 2016 she became a collaborator at iilo Creative Alliance, a values-based, woman-led design collective with a virtual team from across British Columbia and Alberta in Canada. As part of the iilo team, she works on complex projects for progressive impact businesses, nonprofits, institutions, social enterprises, marketing and communications departments, and municipalities. These collaborations continue to inform the work she does with clients at Keiko Creative.

Keiko earned a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and a diploma in Publishing from Langara College.

She is also engaged in art and community projects that help her stay grounded in, and inspired by, the beauty in the world around her. Born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, she lives intergenerationally in a certified Passive House and is passionate about growing food in a communal permaculture-inspired garden.Â
